1What you're paying for

₹99 for the first 100 paid supporters. ₹4999 thereafter — anchor ₹9999. The price displayed on /buy at the time of your payment is what you owe. The standard price (₹4,999, or ₹9,999 anchor post-sunset) buys you:

• A licensed copy of Sajag, delivered as a signed macOS .dmg via email within 24 hours of payment, along with a unique activation passkey.
• macOS only at launch (macOS 12 Monterey and newer, Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows and Linux builds are not on the v1 roadmap.
• Three years of free feature updates from the date of purchase. After that, the install keeps working without renewal — only new features stop landing automatically.
• One license per household. A “household” means people residing at the same address — typically a primary earner, spouse, dependent children, parents.
• Direct email access to the founder for installation help and bug reports.

2What you are NOT paying for

• Personalised financial advice. Sajag is software, not a financial advisor. We don’t recommend funds, execute trades, or replace a SEBI-registered advisor.
• Access to a server. There is no Sajag server. The license isn’t validated against anything online — once the DMG is on your Mac, the software runs forever without phoning home.
• Customer support beyond reasonable installation help. Custom feature requests are a separate paid engagement (see §4).
• A guarantee of accuracy on parsed financial documents. PDF parsing is heuristic; you should verify numbers before making decisions on them.
• Access to the source code. Sajag ships as a binary; you don’t receive the underlying Python or TypeScript.

3Payment + refunds

Payment gateway: Payments are processed via Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets). For continuity, we maintain a direct-UPI fallback if Razorpay is briefly unavailable — in that case, the founder verifies receipt manually within 24 hours.

Failed transactions: If a payment is debited from your account but does not reach us (network failure, timeout, bank issue), Razorpay automatically returns the amount to your original payment method within 5–7 working days. We do not hold any balance until your DMG is delivered.

Promotional ₹99 pricing: Sajag is offered at a promotional price of ₹99 to the first 100 paid supporters (counted by orders that have either reached delivery or are in-flight toward it; refunded orders free up a spot). Once that threshold is reached, the standard price of ₹4,999applies. The promotional price is not retroactive: orders placed after the threshold do not receive a partial refund. The server determines the applicable price at order-creation time and displays it before payment is authorised — no surprise pricing at checkout.

Refund eligibility: Once the install link (DMG + activation passkey) has been delivered to your inbox, payments are non-refundable as a default — Sajag is software, not a subscription, and refunds at scale would compromise the runway. One commitment: if Sajag does not open on your Mac within 24 hours of receiving the link, email connect@sajag.club and we will fix it personally (often via screen-share). If we cannot make it work on your machine, we issue a full refund.

Refund mechanics: All approved refunds are processed via Razorpay’s Refunds API back to your original payment method — same card, same bank account, same UPI VPA you used to pay. Razorpay typically credits this within 5–7 working days. We send confirmation emails when the refund is initiated and again when it lands.

4Customisation requests

Custom features (multi-currency, NRI rules, unusual asset classes, integrations) are scoped separately. Book a call via the Calendly link on /buy or email connect@sajag.club. We’ll quote per engagement; typical builds ship in 1–3 weeks.

5Pre-purchase changes

If you’ve reserved with email but haven’t paid yet, simply don’t pay. Reservations cost nothing and we never charge automatically.

If you change your mind before the DMG is delivered (within the 24-hour onboarding window), email connect@sajag.club and we’ll cancel and refund. Once the DMG has gone out, see §3.

6License — what you can and can't do with Sajag

You receive a single-household personal-use license for the Sajag binary. You may:

• Install and run Sajag on Mac(s) used by members of your household, as defined in §1.
• Make personal backups of the DMG and your local .sajag data file.
• Inspect Sajag’s behaviour at the network and filesystem level — we encourage it, it’s the basis of the no-telemetry promise.

You may not:

• Re-distribute, resell, or share the DMG or activation passkey with people outside your household.
• Reverse-engineer the binary to extract proprietary algorithms for commercial reuse.
• Remove the founder’s name or copyright notice from the application.

Source code is not included with the license. The DMG, activation passkey, and your local data are all you receive — and all you need to run Sajag indefinitely.

7Continuity — if Yash stops maintaining Sajag

You keep the DMG. You keep your local SQLite database. You keep your encrypted.sajagbackup. The product keeps running on your machine forever — no license server to phone home to, no kill-switch.

The 3-year update window is a promise of new features, not a condition of usage. If we cease updates earlier (e.g. founder unavailability), the existing software remains licensed to you in perpetuity.

8Liability — financial decisions are yours

Sajag is a planning tool, not financial advice. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. We do not recommend specific funds, execute trades, or provide tax filing services. Tax computations are estimates based on the inputs you provide and current Income Tax Act provisions; consult a Chartered Accountant before filing. FIRE projections assume historical equity and debt return rates — past performance does not guarantee future returns.

Sajag computes numbers from documents you upload. Those computations may be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for verifying every figure before making a financial decision.

Liability cap: Aggregate liability of Turnet India, the founder, and our agents to any one customer shall not exceed the amount that customer paid for Sajag in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Force majeure: Neither party is liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control — including internet outages, payment-gateway downtime, regulatory action, natural disasters, or acts of God.

8aTax invoice + GST stance

Turnet India is a sole proprietorship currently operating below the GST registration threshold applicable to services in Karnataka (₹20 lakh annual aggregate turnover under §22 of the CGST Act, 2017; the threshold is ₹10 lakh in special-category states). As a result, the prices displayed on /buy are final, no GST is added at checkout, and invoices are issued as non-GST receipts. If your accountant requires a GSTIN-bearing invoice, email connect@sajag.club and we will discuss.

A receipt lands in your reservation email alongside the DMG, within 24 hours of payment. Your Razorpay payment confirmation also serves as a valid proof of transaction. TDS is not applicable to a B2C software purchase of this size — if a corporate buyer needs to deduct TDS, we’ll work out the gross-up before payment.

8bPricing changes

The price displayed on /buy at the time of your payment is what you owe — full stop. We may update the price for new buyers in the future (per the §1 sunset note); existing licenses are NOT charged retroactively. The 3-year update window in §1 stays in effect at no additional cost regardless of any list-price change.

9Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

10Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to existing customers via email. The current version always lives at this page with an effective date at the top.
